Product Description:

The SC756A-001-02 Servo Controller is designed to deliver accurate and efficient motor control. It is compatible with both 120 Vac and 240 Vac inputs. It provides corresponding bus voltages of 160 Vdc and 320 Vdc.

The Pacific Scientific SC756A-001-02 servo controller integrates easily into existing systems with a compact form factor of less than 1.01 and a weight of 90 lbs. Its control system supports various command interfaces and provides exceptional performance for motor positioning and speed control. This controller delivers a high efficiency output of over 95 % at 50 % output voltage and rated continuous current. It features a current loop bandwidth of 1500 to 3000 Hz for responsive performance. The unit accepts input commands via RS-232, RS-485/422 or the PacLAN port. It operates with an output ripple frequency of 20 kHz. The position resolution reaches 65,536 steps per revolution using a 16 bit system. The drive only position accuracy is ± 22 arcmin in standard configuration and ± 4 arcmin optionally. Its velocity range extends from 0 to 12,000 RPM. The analog input accepts ± 12 Vdc signals that supports 16 bit resolution at 200 Hz bandwidth or 14 bit at 1000 Hz.

The SC756A-001-02 servo controller features 0.25 % linearity, 50 µV/°C drift and a 100 kOhm input impedance. The analog output is a ± 5 Vdc range, 12 bit signal updated every 0.4 ms with a 50 ohm output impedance. The input current for control logic is 500 mA max at 115 Vac and 250 mA max at 230 Vac. The controller operates in step/direction mode using differential TTL line receivers with a 750 kHz maximum input rate. All required plug in mating connectors are included.
