Product Description:
The SC755A-080-02 is an energy-efficient and extremely reliable servo drive built by Pacific Scientific for the accurate monitoring and control of brushless servo motor units used in industrial applications. This motor is built according to international standards and is suited to a broad range of machines, including textile, machine tools, and robotic machines. The drive is an IP20 product that requires indoor installation and protection from harsh operating conditions. Customers who desire the use of additional accessories, such as operator displays, host computers, and programmable logic controllers, can connect these devices to the drive using a serial interface under software control. An analogue input channel is also available to users; however, the analogue signal must be within a ±12.5 voltage range. This signal is eventually digitized with a 14-bit accuracy and at a 1000 hertz sampling rate.
The SC755A-080-02 features a total of four control inputs, each of which is interfaced with a switch closure or open collector transistor option. Apart from the control inputs, there are a total of 16 optically isolated general purpose inputs which serve as a support for the logic type interface. Some of the general-purpose inputs serve as high-speed channels. Motors operated with this controller should be from the same manufacturer, as it can support both rare-earth and ferrite time motors without any problem.
