The SC753A-001-02 is a Programmable, Single Axis Digital Brushless Servo-controller from the Pacific Scientifics SC750 range with a drive’s peak current rating of 15A. The continuous value is however 7.5A. It also features a 12- bit RDC option with all pre-assigned factory fitted components. It uses the patented PacSci ServoBASIC Plus™ for programming which blends the efficiency of the BASIC language programming in combination with the characteristics of this advanced motion controller. This interactive programming ecosystem presents a powerful development setting which assists in accelerated application development and measurement. It leads to the accurate digital position control during the operation of brushless servo motors.
SC753A-001-02 is built on an entirely digital concept and is fully compatible with the Pacific Scientific as well as other similar brushless servo motors and is designed to give optimum performance. The precision in movement control is achieved by its inbuilt single resolver feedback. This, coupled with an easily accessible front access panel increases its versatility in usage and brings out the best performance under the varied environment of use.
To achieve a greater degree of resolver control it has a motor mounted single resolver that gives the motor’s complete digital feedback information for commutation as well as its speed and position feedback signals. Its auto-tuning furnishes initialization and set up based on drive preference and the motor model. Its encoder emulates an incremental encoder yield converting the resolver status data to incremental output.
The SC753A-001-02 servo controllers depict a fully-enclosed stand-alone design that has differential line drivers with 16,384 PPR (pulses per revolution) using a 230-volt AC mains power or 320-volt dc bus operation (or optional 120 Volts) for a powerful performance.
