The SC722A-001-PM72005 is a state-of-the-art command controller designed by Pacific Scientific for the monitoring and control of torque, velocity and general operation of industrial motor units. It is flexible in operation and compatible with all Pacific Scientific Servo motor series from R20 through to the R80 series. As a standalone unit, the SC722A-001-PM72005 is equipped with its own internal power supply and shunt regulator; it can also carry out 4-quadrant control operation at an efficiency level as high as 95 per cent. The design of this product ensures that customers can use it for long periods without frequent repair operations. The feedback used by this product is a single-frameless resolver mounted on the motor shaft. This resolver provides the controller with all the necessary feedback information; it uses this information to provide reliable control according to pre-determined configuration parameters.
