The SC453-002-15 is a programmable brushless servo controller by Kollmorgen, designed to perform powerfully as long as the right installation instructions and parameter values are maintained.

To the installation instructions, the ideal mounting height is a maximum of 1500 meters above the sea level. You should mount the unit on a flat and solid surface that can bear a minimum weight of 5kgs. The SC453-002-15 controller should have unobstructed space between it and other components. Specifically, you should leave at least 2.5 cm on either side of the unit and 10 cm below and above the unit. The SC453-002-15 controller utilizes two connectors, J1 for power and J2 for the motor and therefore you do not need to have the insertion tool. The SC453-002-15 has a peak power capability of up to 4500 watts, a position control resolution of 4096 steps per rev and a speed control resolution of 0.01 revolutions per minute.
