SC403-004-T4 falls under the SC403 model that has higher power output compared to the SC402. It is a product of Pacific Scientific Company. This servo controller is designed to operate servo motors such as Pacific Scientific brushless motors or 3-phase Permanent Magnetic servo motors. They are well equipped to accept any analog command given to the drive, control torque, and analog velocity. Thanks to the application of high-frequency PWM current, the SC403-004-T4 achieves high servo performance. For improved safety during operation, it is equipped with multiple protection circuits.
The circuits in this Pacific Scientific servo controller include output fault, DC bus fault, controller OT, motor OT, and control voltage OK. It features an option code of Tachsyn Processor, 4.0 V/Krpm tach gradient ideal for blocking velocity. The SC403-004-T4 has an open frame design which requires storage and operation inside a cabinet. The air inside the cabinet should be free of electrically conductive or corrosive contaminants. Likewise, there should be no dust, dirt, or moisture in the cabinet. For maximum cooling, the SC403-004-T4 should be mounted vertically.
The SC403-004-T4 has a natural convection cooling system and weighs around 5 pounds. It features an input voltage of 115/230 VAC, a 160/320 VDC nominal Bus voltage, and a factory assigned customization code. This SC403 model should be operated in a temperature range of 0-50 degrees. It is engineered as a maintenance-free servo controller. However, you should check for accumulation of dust, dirt, or grease daily. The Pacific Scientific servo controller has a power level of 7.50A cont., 15A PK. The green and red LEDs indicate faults within the SC403-004-T4.
