Product Description:

The Pacific Scientific SC403-001-T5 is a powerful SC Series connection that is used in precise electronic systems such as SC400 Servo Drives.

This connector is engineered with confidence in signal integrity, has a 50 Ohm impedance and is suitable in high frequency applications with operating frequencies of up to 6GHz. It has a maximum VSWR of 1.30, so there is a minor reflection of the signal and transmission performance remains stable even in harsh conditions. The SC403-001-T5 is made to be durable with a brass body nickel finish that provides high corrosion resistance as well as high mechanical strength. The center contact is beryllium copper made to ensure great conductivity and durability, and the contacts are plated with gold on nickel to offer great resistance to oxidation and abrasion. The dielectric constant is not temperature-sensitive, and the PTFE insulator increases performance at high frequencies. The connector has a wide range of coax cables that it can accommodate such as RG-55, RG-142, RG-223 and RG-400 with some degree of system design and installation flexibility.

It is extremely electrically resistant in a variety of settings, with a dielectric voltage strength of up to 1500 V RMS at sea level. It is graded as having ≤ 0.2 dB at 6 GHz in high-bandwidth applications maintaining signal quality. The device, weighs less than 8.5 g and is very light and yet rugged, with the capability to withstand more than 500 mating cycles. It can endure harsh industrial and weather conditions owing to its wide working temperature that varies from -55°C to +155°C. It can be purchased at Wake Industrial with a one-year warranty.
