Product Description:
The Pacific Scientific’s servo drive SC402-037-T3 is UL/cUL recognized for industrial applications and it meets NFPA 79 standard. It provides efficiency greater than 90% during operation and delivers 3.5 A of continuous and 7.0 A of peak output current. This motor gets cooled through natural convection and supports vertically mounting position using the provided keyhole slots.
The SC402-037-T3 drive supports DC bus voltage of 160 VDC at 115 VAC input and it reaches 320 VDC when supplied with 230 VAC input. Its PWM frequency is fixed at 20 kHz for smooth motor control and it provides both torque/velocity modes of operation. The drive is capable of four-quadrant operation for full motor control and it accepts ±10 V analog signals as command input. All control and feedback connections are available on front panel connectors, J1 is used for AC power input and J2 connects to the motor while J3 handles analog inputs and J4 is for I/O along with feedback. This SC402 drive includes LED indicators for power/fault status and it features a fault output of 30 VDC max along with 25 mA sink. Its adjustable parameters include gain, loop tuning, offset and peak current while its zero-speed bias trim helps reduce drift and stabilizes motion. This unit supports 3-phase brushless AC permanent magnet motors and its feedback system uses Tachsyn sensors with 2.0 V/1000 RPM. It supports custom compensation networks for motor tuning as well.
The SC402-037-T3 drive weighs around 6.2 pounds and needs installation in a protected electrical enclosure with a humidity range below 90%, non-moist. Its input voltage range is 115/230 V AC with 47 to 63 Hz frequency and it accepts single/three-phase supply with built-in fusing. Surge protection is provided through internal MOVs and this SC402 drive maintains self-magnetic isolation.
