At the DC link, the controller maintains a nominal bus of 320 VDC, giving the switching stage adequate headroom for producing sinusoidal phase currents. During continuous operation, it can deliver up to 20 A of stall current, corresponding to a sustained mechanical output of 6 kW when paired with a matched motor. Power losses are limited, and the unit dissipates only 130 W at full load thanks to an efficiency of more than 95%. Internally, insulated-gate transistors commutate at a carrier frequency of 5 kHz, balancing acoustic noise and current ripple.
