The SC101-001-M servo controller is built by Pacific Scientific for the SC100 Brushless Servo Controllers series. As a drive module, it converts single-phase utility power into controlled three-phase output so that brushless motors follow speed or position commands in automated conveyors, gantries, and similar machinery. The unit supplies gated currents, monitors motor feedback, and uses a shunt regulator to keep the internal DC bus within safe limits during regenerative events. It therefore handles both motor drive duties and regenerative energy management within the same control package.

Its internal capacitor bank maintains a nominal bus of 320 VDC. From this rail, the output stage can provide a continuous stall current of 7.5 A and supports motors up to 1.5 kW. Regenerated energy is diverted to a resistor that dissipates 30 W on a continuous basis, while overall conversion efficiency stays above 95% to help reduce cabinet heating.
