Product Description:
The S33ANAH-RNVE-00 is a 6-pole neodymium magnet brushless servo motor introduced by Pacific Scientific within the S Brushless Motors series. Built as part of the high-voltage construction option, the unit serves as a compact rotary actuator for positioning and velocity control on automated machinery and material-handling axes. Its NEMA frame mounting fits legacy machine layouts, while the embedded size 21 frameless resolver sends rotor position signals to the drive for closed-loop control.
During continuous operation, the motor can deliver a stall torque of 5.3 Nm, giving machinery enough low-speed force to hold loads without additional gearing. Short duty bursts are supported by a peak capability of 15.3 Nm for acceleration spikes. Electrical behavior is characterized by a line-to-line resistance of 5.2 Ω, which affects copper losses, and a line-to-line inductance of 17.0 mH, which influences current ripple. A torque constant of 1.5 Nm/ARMS links phase current to output torque. The three-stack lamination, A winding, and Interconnection connectors are part of a factory package that supports the 24 V DC holding brake and keeps cabling straightforward.
The mechanical envelope follows the NEMA 34 standard, so shaft height, pilot diameter, and mounting bolt circle match common NEMA motor dimensions. Combined with a weight of 6.5 kg, the motor remains manageable during installation while still providing enough mass for thermal stability. Dynamic response is aided by a rotor inertia of 0.48 kg·m² × 10⁻³, which supports quick acceleration without demanding excessive drive current. Electrical back EMF is proportional to speed at 0.94 VRMS/rad/sec, allowing the controller to derive accurate velocity information when needed. A Viton shaft seal protects the front bearing against coolant or fine dust during operation.
