Along with the popular PMA, PMB and R series, Pacific Scientific’s S series is equally impactful. The series features two frame sizes (S32 and S33) along with NEMA or metric mounting design. The S32HSNA-RNNM-03 belongs to the R32 series of brushless servomotors.

The S32HSNA-RNNM-03 features brushless construction that eliminates the requirement of brush replacement. Add steel bearing inserts to the brushless feature to minimize the motor downtime. The S32HSNA-RNNM-03 brushless servomotor features a peak torque of 11.6 Nm while maintains a continuous stall torque of 4.0 Nm. The servomotor weighs just 4.9kg while its length is 6.63 inches. Even then, it features anti-cog design for smooth and low-speed operation over a long period. Plus, its IP65 protected TENV construction make it suitable for rigorous environment. The NEMA 34 mounting adds flexibility and compatibility with other drive systems, although S32HSNA-RNNM-03 offers maximum speed if used with PC3406 drive system.  The H-class insulation allows the motor to work smoothly under extreme temperature. The H winding features a rated torque of 2.8 Nm while its Voltage constant is 46.1 Nm/kRPM.

Since it’s a low-speed motor, the S32HSNA-RNNM-03 doesn’t feature holding brake (installation option available) yet its low-rotor inertia of 0.34 is meant for rapid acceleration and deceleration. Moreover, it features a frameless resolver of size 21. The S32HSNA-RNNM-03 comes with 1-year warranty.
