Product Description:
The S32GNAA-RNVE-00 brushless servo motor is produced by Pacific Scientific within the S Brushless Motors series. This six-pole neodymium-magnet unit is intended for closed-loop positioning and speed regulation in automated machinery. It couples directly to mechanical loads through a NEMA frame interface, delivering precise motion for pick-and-place, indexing, or light machining axes while maintaining compact dimensions suitable for panel-mounted or gantry-mounted drive layouts.
It provides a continuous stall torque of 4.0 Nm, giving the actuator holding capability at zero speed without overheating, while its peak torque reaches 11.3 Nm for rapid acceleration. The three-phase winding has a line-to-line inductance of 18 mH, which moderates current change and filters high-frequency drive pulses. The line-to-line resistance is 6.2 ohms, which helps guide drive sizing for thermal balance. Torque is generated in proportion to current according to the constant of 1.3 Nm/ARMS, and the back electromotive force constant is 0.82 VRMS/rad/s for velocity estimation. Primary position feedback is supplied by a size 21 frameless resolver, no secondary feedback is fitted, the motor uses winding code G, it carries a two-stack lamination, and it employs Interconnectron connectors for power and signal terminations.
A 24 V dc brake supplies holding force for vertical or safety-critical axes, and the Viton shaft seal limits lubrication migration into the resolver cavity. The rotor inertia of 0.34 × 10⁻³ kg·m² supports fast response with load stability, while the overall mass of 4.9 kg helps keep moving-axis loads manageable. The NEMA 34 outline fits common mounting patterns used on industrial machinery. The sealed shaft arrangement and integrated brake make the motor suitable for installations where stable positioning is required after motion stops.
