A tiny brushless servo motor of the S series, the Pacific Scientific S21GSAA-RNNM-02 has been developed with a balance between mechanical simplicity and control accuracy.

It can be placed in many different setups, as the motor has a standard NEMA 23 frame size. Its dimension is ideal as it weighs 1.4kg, which is favorable to space-constrained and weight-sensitive automation systems. The continuous stall torque is 0.5 Nm, which proves to be stable even with a load. It also has a peak torque of 1.36 Nm, thus able to handle short, high loads in high-motion applications. The torque constant is higher than other motors of this type at 0.3 Nm/ARMS, so it can give higher torque per amp-useful where lower current is required or where improved thermal performance is required. The voltage constant is 0.19VRMS/Rad/Sec, and thus can be correctly applied in speed control.
