The R65GEAP-R2-NS-NV-00 is the code of an R series servo mechanical digital AC motor. It is a kind of synchronous motor, which is permanently excited with a permanent magnet. It is a maintenance-free servo motor designed for heavy duty applications that need high performance and consistency. This motor is manufactured by Pacific Scientific Inc. But, after the merger of the company with Kollmogen Inc, the brand name has been changed to Kollmorgen, which is a US based electrical equipment manufacturer company headquartered at Baltimore, Maryland, US.
The bearings of this servo digital control motor are lubricated for lifetime and electronic circuits are used for commutation purpose. The housing of this motor is suitable for all kinds of environments to sustain weather conditions.
