Product Description:
Pacific Scientific's R46HCAA-R2-NS-VS-00 Brushless servomotor is ideal for use in robotics and other industrial automation systems. A keyed shaft with a red flexible connection is supported by the motor's front face-mount flange.
With a back EMF constant of 64 V/KRPM and a torque constant of 64 lb-in, the R46HCAA-R2-NS-VS-00 brushless servo motor delivers excellent performance. With a line-to-line resistance of 0.93 ohms, the motor runs at a constant stall current of 13.5 amps. Three circular MIL-style connectors are located at the back of the servo motor, providing power and feedback. Two of these connectors are large, and one is small. The performance specifications of servo motors were influenced by the requirements for automation in repetitive-motion systems during the engineering process. Direct shaft coupling is feasible due to its design, which eliminates the necessity for shaft modification. With a maximum UL rating of 600 VDC and an operating temperature of 25°C, this motor is an ideal option. It complies with industry-standard electrical insulation ratings due to its construction to Insulation Class B standards. The shaft can be immediately attached to couplings or other mechanical links due to its key-equipped front mounting. When aligning with fixed assemblies, the mounting design makes integration easier.
The R46HCAA-R2-NS-VS-00 servo motor provides accurate feedback and monitoring thanks to its resolver interface and thermal protection support. This compact 4.25" square frame motor has a trouble-free brushless design and a long-life bearing system to provide dependable performance. It uses samarium cobalt permanent magnets to generate maximum torque relative to its low rotor inertia, allowing for quick acceleration and deceleration. With low thermal resistance, the motor can produce a high power output without overheating. Its installation is completely compatible with the F40 Series ferrite magnet brushless motors, allowing for simple modifications.
Frequently Asked Questions about R46HCAA-R2-NS-VS-00:
Q: Why does R46HCAA-R2-NS-VS-00 use 0.93 ohm resistance?
A: The 0.93-ohm line-to-line resistance limits power loss and heat generation. It supports stable current flow for consistent motor performance under continuous load.
Q: Does R46HCAA-R2-NS-VS-00 have shaft mounting advantages?
A: Yes, the front face-mount flange with keyed shaft simplifies direct mechanical coupling. This reduces alignment issues and allows fast, secure shaft integration.
Q: Why is 64 V/KRPM back EMF constant in R46HCAA-R2-NS-VS-00?
A: The 64 V/KRPM constant ensures voltage output remains proportional to speed. This aids in accurate speed control and minimizes feedback loop deviation.
Q: How does R46HCAA-R2-NS-VS-00 manage thermal limits?
A: The servomotor is rated for 25°C ambient temperature and insulation class B. These constraints help maintain operational safety and insulation stability during extended runtime.
Q: Why does R46HCAA-R2-NS-VS-00 include three MIL-style connectors?
A: Three MIL-style connectors separate power, feedback, and sensors. This structured connection layout improves system organization and simplifies diagnostic access during maintenance.
