The R Series of motors by Pacific Scientific have been developed in multiple frame sizes and are made applying the latest technology with components that are designed to make the motors lightweight and high in performance. To this effect, it utilizes high-quality rare earth element-based permanent magnets. Their stator has been adapted for an anti-cog design that assists in achieving smooth low-speed output. These motors are lightweight and power-packed to deliver a quick dynamic response.
The R46GCNA-R2-NS-NV-00 servo- motor from this series is built upon a sturdy mounting and has the dimensions of 13.5 x 4.5 x 4.5 inches. The motor width and length of the stack are of compatible size made to the nearest 4’ and 6’ respectively. The motor uses alloys like the Samarium-cobalt for magnetic poles and that brings down its weight to just 21.7 pounds which is commendable as it can generate a peak torque of 20.2 Nm and rated speed of 1700 rpm at the 240 Volts AC and 320Volts DC supply.
This R46GCNA-R2-NS-NV-00 motor is fitted with a NEMA faced type of shaft and mounting with the standard sequence numeral. The primary feedback is attained by the internally fixed size-21 transmitter-type frameless resolver and has no secondary feedback resolver. There is neither shaft sealing ring at the housing outlet end nor any electrical holding brake.
