This motor converts electrical power into precise rotational movement for indexing tables, pick-and-place arms, and other automated axes that call for feedback-controlled torque and repeatable speed regulation. A square frame and a standard housing style allow it to fit many machinery envelopes without custom adapters, while the absence of an integral brake allows external holding devices to be used when static positioning is required.
