Product Description:
The R32GENC-R2-NS-VS-00 is a synchronous servomotor manufactured by Pacific Scientific to offer high performance. The R32 series motor operates at a bus voltage of 320VDC or 240VAC and at an ambient operating temperature of 25°C. The high torque-to-inertia ratio of the unit results in improved dynamic response that perfectly complements the excellent performance.
The four-pole synchronous motor comes fitted with a square frame that has a height or width of just 3.25 inches and weighs only 2.5kg that makes it ideal for use in confined spaces. This makes the motor both compact and lightweight at the same time. The stator has an anti-cog design while the rotor produces low inertia of 0.071 kgm2 x 10-3. This results in the brushless motor rendering rapid acceleration or deceleration. The magnet stack has a length of close to two inches.
The servo unit is fitted with a thermistor that offers protection from over temperatures and has a Class H high temperature insulation. It is also fitted with steel bearing inserts that give the bearings extra long life. The motor depicts an IP65 washdown and rugged TENV construction without a holding brake and features G type winding. The shaft features a Viton shaft seal. The unit makes use of permanent samarium-cobalt magnets that have rare earth properties resulting in no option for demagnetization. The device utilizes a transmitter type frameless resolver to produce the primary feedback. The resolver has a size of 21. The black servomotor has a viscous damping coefficient of 0.005Nm/kRPM, continuous stall current of 2.9A, continuous stall current of 2.9A and a voltage constant of 0.36V/kRPM. The motor has a typical rated speed of 4,000RPM. It features UL Recognition and is one of the best choices for unmatched performance. The unit is best suited for position control and speed related applications.
