A manual stop valve designed for high-reliability, compressed fluid control systems is the Pacific Scientific R22GMAA-HS-LB-NV-02.

This valve is constructed of a hermetic seal (HS) and a brass body, which makes it durable and resistant to leakage even when subjected to harsh working environments such as HVAC, refrigeration, and fluid systems in industry. The seal material used is a nitrile (LB-NV), which is compatible to work with many refrigerants and other non-corrosive gases, and hence offers flexibility as well as being chemically resistant. The maximum operating pressure of the valve is up to 500 psi with a prevailing explosion pressure of 1000 psi, making safe operations even with unexpected pressure surges. Its flow coefficient (Cv) of 0.36 will enable accurate flow control in small-bore lines, and this results in a tight layout capable of being realized in the system. With soldered or brazed end connections and a 1/4-inch port size, it may be permanently installed into copper pipe systems.
