The P22NSXA-LNF-NS-02 is a two-phase stepper motor manufactured by Pacific Scientific as part of the POWERMAX II P Motors series. The motor translates pulse-train commands from drive electronics into accurate shaft rotation without internal feedback devices, making it suitable for open-loop positioning tasks. Because it uses step commands rather than closed-loop feedback, motion accuracy depends on the drive setup and the applied load.
The motor advances in 1.8-degree steps, yielding 200 steps per revolution with a step accuracy of ±1.5%, while 0.049 N·m of detent torque helps hold the rotor when the coils are idle. Energized windings supply 1.39 N·m of holding torque, and they draw 3.3 A DC per phase through 0.85 Ω resistance and 3.3 mH inductance in winding type A. Two stacks share the two-phase circuit, and the standard rotor inertia of 0.0000252 kg·m² helps moderate acceleration.
