Product Description:
The P22NRXB-LDN-PJ-00 is a hybrid stepper motor produced by Pacific Scientific within the POWERMAX II P Motors series. It is designed for indexing tables, small gantries, and other open-loop positioning tasks. The motor converts digital pulse trains from a drive into incremental shaft rotation, allowing machinery to execute repeatable linear or rotary moves without feedback devices.
The frame follows the NEMA 23 outline, providing industry-standard mounting with a 66.67 mm bolt circle and a 38.10 mm pilot. Each command pulse advances the rotor by 1.8 degrees, and the shaft delivers 1.51 Nm of holding torque when rated current is applied. That torque is produced by a two-stack rotor core with a detent torque limited to 0.05 Nm, which helps keep static position error low. Full-step resolution provides 200 discrete positions per revolution without microstepping. The phase windings draw 4.6 A per phase, so drives in the 40–60 Vdc range can energize the coils while maintaining safe thermal margins under the Class B insulation system.
The electrical circuit has a phase resistance of 0.76 Ω and a phase inductance of 2.1 mH. Together, these values establish the time constant that limits current rise at higher step rates. Positional accuracy for a single full step remains within ±1.5%, supporting repeatable movement in pick-and-place heads and labelers. Continuous service is allowed across an ambient temperature range of -20 °C to +40 °C. The motor withstands a radial load of 90 N and an axial load of 60 N on its 6.35 mm smooth double shaft. It uses standard construction with lead-wire connections and a B-type winding code. Its insulation resistance is 100 MΩ when measured at a test voltage of 340 Vdc, providing electrical isolation during extended duty cycles.
