It accepts step commands from a drive to generate rotary motion in fixed angular increments without the need for an internal feedback device. This operating method supports straightforward motion control in machines that rely on repeatable step positioning rather than closed-loop servo correction.
The motor fits the NEMA 23 frame outline and produces a holding torque of 1.39 Nm when the windings are energized. Each full step covers 1.8 degrees, giving 200 discrete positions per revolution, and a step accuracy of ± 1.5 % keeps cumulative position error low. Two stator phases drive a standard rotor with two stacks, while detent torque is limited to 0.05 Nm for smoother idle behavior.
