The P22NRXA-LDS-NS-02 is manufactured by Pacific Scientific as part of the Powermax II P stepper motor series. It features a thermal resistance of 6.6 Mounted °C/Watt and rotor intertia of 0.025(kg-m²x10¯³). These are the most powerful stepper motors with a holding torque of .42Nm and a detent torque of .018 Nm.

The P22NRXA-LDS-NS-02 motor estimated weight is about  1.13 kg. - 2.5kg. The motor has 2 rotor stacks and operates in a series arrangement. High acceleration rates result from the use of low rotor inertia and high rotor inertia result in lower acceleration rates. The rotor inertia of the P22NRXA-LDS-NS-02 step motor is 0.025 to 0.0036 to kgm 2 X 10 -3.

 The motor’s holding torque range is about 1.39 Nm – 197Nm and the detent torque is 0.049Nm up to 7 Nm. The peak rated current stands at 3.3A and a level above this will demagnetize the motor and halt the operation. The thermal resistance is measured while the P22NRXA-LDS-NS-02 motor remains unmounted and its value is 4.5 0 C /watt while the phase resistance is 0.8 Ohms to 4 Ohms. Further, the windings value is a minimum temperature of 40 0 C and a peak temperature of 130 0 C when no heat sink is used and the air remains calm as the motor will be unmounted. This is made possible when you apply the rated current value.

Finally, you will need an impedance bridge to measure the small signals of the P22NRXA-LDS-NS-02 motor at a temperature of 25 0 C.
