Featured with a 2-stack rotor the P22NRFB-LNN-NS-00 is a Stepper type DC motor being offered by Pacific Scientific. This model comes from the well-known POWERMAX II® family of STEPPER motors by Pacific Scientific and now it is manufactured and marketed by Pacific Scientific. The P22NRFB-LNN-NS-00 is a powerful motor as it can produce a maximum holding torque of 214 N-m in series and parallel configuration and 151 N-m in unipolar connection mode. The rated current per phase for this motor is 4.6 ampere in parallel.

This model is offered with a single, smooth shaft and without any provision for the mounting of a limit switch or encoder. Customers seeking a stepper motor for complicated applications should consider going with a superior motor with an integrated encoder. This class of motors (NEMA 23) supports 500 ppr and 512 ppr type encoders. These encoders can directly be acquired from Agilent. However, for proper mounting and compatibility with the motor, you should prefer acquiring the desired position hardware from Pacific Scientific. The P22NRFB-LNN-NS-00 motor supports quick and easy installation or mounting as it has a NEMA 23 size mounting flange available on the shaft side.

The P22NRFB-LNN-NS-00 can provide a lot of power in terms of torque – a feature that makes it a viable direct-drive motor.
