Product Description

P21NSXD-LNN-NS-02 is one of the hybrid stepper DC motors. This series of stepping DC motors are designed and manufactured by Pacific Scientific Company, but now this company has been acquired by Kollmorgen Inc. All brand names have been replaced with the Kollmorgen. The headquarters of Kollmorgen is situated in the Radford town of Virginia state in the United States.

P series motors are hybrid stepper motors designed for the industrial automation processes and manufacturing of electronic appliances with automated control systems. This motor uses hybrid technology for its construction. This motor weighs about 1.5 pounds or 0.68 kg. The motor is able to produce holding torque of about 0.77 Nm. This motor uses a laminated rotor to produce speed efficiency. One complete revolution of this motor consists of equal steps each step covers the displacement of about 1.8 degrees. The accuracy of the movement of this motor is about ±3% of one single step.

P21NSXD-LNN-NS-02 DC hybrid motor is a NEMA standard compliant motor, which means that the length of this motor is 2.3 inches and the flange size is also 2.3 inches. It is a single stack motor with NEMA mounting and special construction. The connection types are receptacle as indicated by X in the name code. It uses the winding types D. The rotor of this motor is standard type with single shaft configuration and smooth shaft modification as indicated by LNN in the product code. There is no feedback integrated with this hybrid stepping DC motor. There are two custom components installed in this stepper DC motor. It offers great accuracy and the desired efficiency if operated under the set down environmental conditions.
