The new innovation of the P21NSXC-LSS-NS-14 motors comes with 1 rotor stack and a series arrangement. Its standard inertia rotor rates as 1.68 to 0.010 kgm 2 X 10 -3 while the low inertia rotor rates at 1.30 to 0.008 kgm 2 X 10 -3.  High acceleration rates possible are achieved with the low inertia rotor. The P21NSXC-LSS-NS-14 motors’ holding torque rates as 116 to 0.82 Nm while the detent torque rate as 4 to 0.028 Nm.  The rated current of the motor is 3.5 A with a phase resistance of 0.53 Ω and thermal resistance of 5.5 0 C /watt. It is important to note that the thermal resistance is measured with the motor hanging in still air (unmounted).  With the application of rated current, winding is done at 130 0 C and at 40 0 C when the motor is in still air (unmounted) without the use of a heat sink. Any operation beyond the rated current will lead to the demagnetization of the motor. In the event of such an occurrence please contact the factory.

The net weight of the P21NSXC-LSS-NS-14 motors ranges between 1.5 to 0.68 kg with the phase inductance standing at 2.3 mH.  Small signal inductance as measured with impedance bridge at 1 kHz, 1 A. Finally, the above ratings and characteristics are typical at 25 0 C unless noted otherwise.
