The P series stepping motors are hybrid DC stepper motors manufactured by Pacific Scientific, which has been acquired by Kollmorgen Inc. Kollmorgen is a US based company headquartered at Radford city in Virginia State. P21NSXC-LSS-NS-10 is one of the important motors of P series stepper DC motors.

P in the commercial product code P21NSXC-LSS-NS-10 indicates motor series, ‘2’ indicates the size NEMA 23, ‘1’ indicates the number of stacks in the motor. N indicates type of mounting compliant to NEMA 23 standard and S indicates special construction and X indicates the type of termination is receptacle and C indicates the type of windings used in this motor.
