The P21NSXC-LSS-NS-03 is a two-phase hybrid stepper motor built by Pacific Scientific within the POWERMAX II P Motors series. Designed for NEMA-compatible mounting, the unit translates digital pulse trains from indexers or microstepping drives into precise shaft movement for positioning tables, small actuators, and metering pumps in industrial automation. Its standard layout houses the rotor and stator in a NEMA 23 frame, while a receptacle connector provides quick electrical termination without loose flying leads. Because the model contains only motor windings and no feedback devices, it is suitable for applications where open-loop accuracy is acceptable and simplicity is preferred over encoder data.
With a static holding torque of 0.82 Nm, the motor can keep small loads stationary whenever the rated phase current of 3.5 A is applied. Motion is generated in 1.8-degree increments, delivering 200 discrete step positions, while inherent accuracy remains within ±1.5 percent of the commanded angle.
