The P21NSXC-LSN-NS-02 is a highly capable motion control platform from the POWERMAX II series. The P21NSXC-LSN-NS-02 is a stepper motor that is used for high power applications in various industries. The motor falls in the NEMA 23 category and produces the highest amount of torque and acceleration because of the Sigmax Technology used in the motor. The technology uses samarium cobalt stator magnets to concentrate magnetic flux. This allows the motor to generate high torque and acceleration. The motor also comes with neodymium iron boron magnets that are the strongest permanent magnets commercially available. The P21NSXC-LSN-NS-02 has 1.51 A peak current, and its phase resistance is 2.61 ohms. Because of increased shaft size and rear shaft extension, a 0.028 Nm torque can be extracted from the shaft's end. 

The P21NSXC-LSN-NS-02 can generate more torque at lower speeds because of a solid rotor. A solid rotor also causes an increase in the motor’s stiffness and damping. Because of a large shaft diameter, the motor’s shaft can withstand a high amount of radial and axial loads. The motor’s thermal resistance is 5.5 ᵒC/watt, and it has an exceptional thermal dissipation because of its polymer encapsulated stator. The heat dissipation is also increased because of its exposed lamination aids. This model's torque range has been significantly increased because of its high-performance gearheads. A low inertia rotor can also be integrated with the motor. Low inertia rotors increase a motor’s acceleration significantly. Because of oversized bearings, the motor's fatigue life is drastically improved because it can withstand many more cycles of cyclic loading.
