Product Description:

P21NSXC-LNS-NS-02 is a P series stepping motor manufactured by Pacific Scientific Inc, which has been acquired by Kollmorgen Inc. The brand name of Pacific Scientific Inc has been replaced with the Kollmorgen after the acquisition of the company. The headquarters of Kollmorgen Electronic Manufacturing Company is located at the Radford town in the State of Virginia, USA.

This is a DC motor designed for the general applications in the electronic and industrial automation and circuits. This stepper motor is known as the POWERMAX II hybrid technology product. It is a two phase motor with options of three different types of connections suitable for multiple applications. P21NSXC-LNS-NS-02 motor uses standard technology with a permanent magnet rotor. The rotor is laminated for producing the high speed efficiency required for a standard application stepper motor.

The weight of this motor is 1.5 pounds or 0.68 kilograms. The size of this motor is in compliance with the NEMA 23 standards, which means the size of this motor is 2.3 inches flange size and 2.3 inches of length. This motor completes one single revolution in 200 steps. Every step rotates 1.8 degrees. The accuracy of the rotation of this motor is ±3% of a full step that is considered as suitable for the standard automation processes. It is a single stack motor that has regular construction and receptacle connections. It uses C winding code.

It has a standard rotor and the configuration of a single shaft that has special shaft modification as described in the LNS code in the product name. There is no encoder feedback option available in this DC stepper motor as indicated by NS in the product code. There are two components that are custom components designated by the factory.
