Product Description:

P21NSXC-LNN-NS-04 is the product name of a stepper motor. This stepper motor was desgined by Pacific Scientific and manufactured by Kollmorgen Inc, headquartered at Radford, Virginia, USA. Earlier than acquisition, this series of products were manufactured by Pacific Scientific Inc. This is a general purpose standard type stepper motor commonly used in different kinds of electronic and electrical process automation and other applications.

This is a two phase DC motor that rotates 1.8 degrees with every step. Thus, the total number of steps in a complete revolution is 200. The accuracy of this stepper motor is ±3% of full step. This is a permanent magnet motor with a control system to energize the poles in such a way that the motor rotates with the fixed-degree steps. The weight of this motor is about 0.68 kg. It produces the torque power of 0.82 Nm, which is normally referred to as the holding torque of this DC stepper motor.

The registered name of this brand is PowerMax II motors, which use standard hybrid technology in its technical designs. This is in compliance with the NEMA 23 standard. The size of this motor is 2.3 x 2.3 square inches.  

This motor is designed to operate within the range of 20 to 40 degree centigrade to offer the rated efficiency. It has a laminated rotor for achieving high speed efficiency. P21NSXC-LNN-NS-04 motor uses 1 stack with special construction and receptacle connections as indicated by NSX in the product code. It uses the winding standard C. It has standard rotor with smooth shaft modification and single shaft configuration as indicated by LNN in the design code.
