Product Description

The P21NRXA-LNF-NS-00 hybrid stepper motor is one of the various P series motors of its type from Pacific Scientific. The motor features high efficiency. The polymer encapsulated stator does not feature any permanent magnets to redirect the flux. This standard device has a regular construction style with a laminated single stack rotor. The product features a NEMA mounting style. It has large bearings and a shaft diameter of 0.375-inch that increases the life of the motor. The hybrid motor is capable of enduring high radial and axial loads, thanks to the bigger shaft diameter. The device comes with a one-year warranty period.

The stepper motor supports receptacle type termination with mating leaded connectors available separately. The integral electrical reception offers a high retention force. This product has a standard winding type of A that is suitable for any application. The rotor is fitted with neodymium-iron-boron rare earth magnets. The hybrid unit does not have any feedback and there is no encoder. The bearing fatigue life is more than 10,000 hours at any speed where the motor completes up to 10,000 full steps in a second.  The rotor lamination ensures that the motor runs efficiently at high speed.

The motor gives an angular accuracy of 3% and a step angle of 1.8°. The device has an overall length of 52.4mm and weighs 0.68kg. The product has a holding torque of 0.8Nm with bipolar or parallel connection. The surface of this device supports a maximum temperature of 95°C. The hybrid unit comprises a single-ended flat shaft. The mounting holes have a diameter of 0.200 inches. The P21NRXA-LNF-NS-00 hybrid motor features rotor inertia of 0.012kgm2 x 10-3 and insulation resistance of 100 Megohms at 500VDC and 25°C.
