The motor uses standard construction and one magnetic stack to keep rotor inertia low. Each revolution is divided into 200 full steps, allowing precise indexing in compact pick-and-place heads, small conveyor diverters, and other automated assemblies that require repeatable motion.

Compliance with the NEMA 23 frame dimensions makes the motor compatible with many common mounts, and the leads exit the housing through a standard lead-wire connection for straightforward wiring. Motion is generated with a 1.8° step angle, and the electromagnetic circuit uses a 2-phase arrangement that keeps torque ripple predictable.
