The M22NSXD-LNN-NS-02 hybrid stepper motor is produced by Pacific Scientific as part of the POWERMAX II M Motors series. It provides incremental rotary motion in feeders, small conveyors, and similar automation equipment where digital pulse trains are converted into repeatable shaft positions. Because it is a hybrid stepper motor, it is suited to applications that need discrete positioning without a closed-loop servo system. The motor uses a NEMA mounting interface in a NEMA 23 frame and has two stator stacks, giving it a compact format for controlled indexing tasks.
The motor uses D winding and can be wired in parallel for 2.5 A DC per phase or in series for 1.2 A DC. In parallel, the phase resistance is 1.22 Ω, while series connection raises resistance to 4.87 Ω; the corresponding inductances are 5 mH and 19.9 mH. When energized, the motor delivers 1.68 N·m of holding torque, while detent torque is 0.12 N·m with the windings off. The insulation system is rated Class B 130 °C, with 100 megohms to ground and a 340 VDC dielectric margin.
