The M22NSXD-LNN-NS-02 is one of the M series step motors designed by Pacific Scientific. Pacific Scientific is known for its expertise in manufacturing motors and other such related parts. The M22NSXD-LNN-NS-02 is one of the novel designs in step motors. The motor has a lot of patented technologies used in it. Sigmax technology is used to inhibit the wastage of magnetic flux by redirecting the flow. Sigmax is one of the patented technologies developed by the company. Apart from the Sigmax technology, the step motors also have a POWERMAX II technology integrated into it. POWERMAX II helps produce the highest amount of acceleration and torque output.

This model is of a NEMA 23 Size. It also features a NEMA Mounting. The stator has inserts made of rare earth magnets and these magnets are usually samarium cobalt magnets. The role of these magnets is mainly to concentrate the magnetic flux discharge at particular points within the motor. The rotor stacks can be modified, and a variety of options are available for that. Half, single, and double rotor stacks can be used for this motor. This is a very economical model and is known for its durability. The company provides a warranty period of 2 years for this and usually no problems occur with this model.

The model has very large bearings and shaft diameter. This ensures that the bearing fatigue life is increased significantly. Due to the large diameter of the stepper, it can withstand high levels of loads both axially as well as radially. The model has a cooling technology integrated with it. The heat dissipation is uniform and structured, which ensures that the motor does not overheat at any point. This model has the rotor magnets being made of Neodymium-iron-boron combination which improves the resilience of the structure.
