Product Description

The M22NSXB-IDS-NS-02 is one of the best step motors from Pacific Scientific. It packs a lot of high-end technologies. The motor runs with a POWERMAX II shell which is known to produce the highest amount of torque output. M22NSXB-IDS-NS-02 is part of the M series models manufactured by the company. The motor uses Sigmax technology to inhibit the magnetic flux leakage by redirecting the flux discharge. This enhances the torque output. The low inertia rotors help produce the highest acceleration. There is also an option to choose standard rotors instead of low inertia rotors.

Leaded connectors are available as options for this motor. The leaded connections are available in 4 different types. Bipolar series, bipolar parallel and unipolar phase connections can be made with the step motor. Rare Earth magnets are integrated into the motor to ensure that the flux discharge is redirected. Due to the large size of the bearings, the parts generally last more than 4 times the normal life span. POWERMAX II increases the fatigue life of the motor by a huge margin. This model has a fatigue lifespan of more than 10,000 hours which is one of the highest.

Samarium cobalt magnets are used in the step motor design. These are used as inserts in the stator and they are used to concentrate the magnetic flux at certain points between the rotor and the stator. This increases current utilization and torque production. This step motor model from Pacific Scientific has some of the best features available.
