The M22NRXA-LDF-NS-00 is a step motor from Pacific Scientific with POWER MAX II technology. This particular motor is NEMA 23 hybrid step motor with stator teeth which contain rare earth magnets. It has the ability to produce a holding torque of up to 253 oz.-in and therefore is a very powerful two-inch stepper. The motor is economical while being highly functional, highly durable and having the ability to stand the test of time and a heavy workload.

This step motor features a new type of stator which is polymer encapsulated. The end bell features threaded inserts and is manufactured from this new polymer as well. The end bells on this motor from Pacific Scientific are designed to run cooler. This allows them to provide a greater amount of flexibility when mounting brake and encoder options.

The M22NRXA-LDF-NS-00 motor is manufactured with the use of Sigmax Technology. The unit has the ability to give the end user an option or a solid rotor or a low inertia rotor. Being that this motor is designed to be economical it features a precision ground rotor OD along with a Hone stator ID which allows for a concentric air gap. This air gap along with laminations aids which are exposed help to improve thermal dissipation and protect the step motor from overheat and any possible accompanying damage.
