The M21NSXD-LNF-NS-02 is a 2-phase, 30W 76A DC Stepper Motor from Pacific Scientific. This motor is designed to operate at a maximum speed of 1500 revolutions per minute. The M21NSXD-LNF-NS-02 motor consumes 1.51 amperes of current in parallel connections and 0.76 amperes of current in a series configuration. This 1-stack motor has phase resistance 10.5 ohms and phase inductance of 34.8 mH in a parallel configuration. The M21NSXD-LNF-NS-02 motor can be deployed in a variety of orientations as it comes with standard NEMA mounting flange. Users can easily mount this motor with the help of four appropriately chosen screws.

The NEMA size of this motor is 23 and it is housed in a 2.3” frame. This model comes with encoder mounting provision and can be equipped with a 512 or 500 LPR encoder. the larger-than-usual bearings utilized in the construction of this motor makes it an ideal choice for a variety of challenging applications the M21NSXD-LNF-NS-02 motor is widely considered in complex motion applications where precise stepped motion is required. This version comes with an 8-pin, integral electrical receptacle that can be used for motor power supply and feedback signals. This motor can produce a maximum holding torque of 135 Nm with both of its phases energized.

The M21NSXD-LNF-NS-02 motor was first manufactured and offered by Pacific Scientific and was included in POWERMAX II Hybrid Step Motors Series. This motor comes featured with Sigmax® technology and rare earth metals are used in its construction. The state-of-the-art Sigmax ® technology optimizes torque production by inhibiting flux leakage. The one-sided, smooth shaft of this motor can be coupled to a variety of pulleys and other transmission hardware. This model has an operating temperature limit of 40 degrees Celsius.
