The unit converts pulse trains from an indexer or PLC into incremental shaft movement, delivering precise open-loop positioning for conveyors, labelers, and light pick-and-place axes in general-purpose automation.
This model uses a NEMA 23 frame that lines up with standardized 56.4 mm mounting patterns. The internal rotor advances in 1.8 degrees increments, so one electrical sequence yields 200 steps per revolution. A detent torque of 9.4 oz-in holds position when the coils are de-energized, useful for fixtures that must stay aligned during power loss. Dynamic behavior is shaped by a rotor inertia of 0.0017 oz-in-s², allowing rapid acceleration with limited overshoot.
