The M21NRXA-JDN-NS-00 is a two-phase stepper motor built by Pacific Scientific as part of the POWERMAX II M Motors series. The unit converts discrete pulse commands from an indexer or drive into incremental rotation, making it suitable for positioning axes, pick-and-place heads, and other motion tasks in industrial automation. As a NEMA-framed motor, it fits standard mounting interfaces used in many industrial assemblies. Its step-by-step operating method is well suited to applications that require repeatable indexing and simple motion control.
The motor occupies the NEMA 23 frame envelope and has an overall length of 2.06 in, while the rotor core uses a single stack with an A-type winding. Its construction is labeled Enhanced, and power is carried through a regular leadwire arrangement with a receptacle-style connection. Because the encoder option does not provide feedback, position verification relies on commanded step counts; each command advances the shaft by 1.8 degrees, producing 200 discrete positions per revolution with a step accuracy of ±1.5%.
