The 2-phase 802D-2235-F05S Hybrid stepper motor from Pacific Scientific which is NEMA 23 sized, performs well in a number of applications. The motor's strong construction allows it to provide high-holding torque and precise control, making it ideal for a wide range of automation applications in the industry. Designed to withstand harsh environments, the motor will keep running reliably for a long time.
The 802D-2235-F05S stepper motor has a holding torque ranging from 1.4 to 1.8 Nm and features a full step angle of 1.8°. The motor has large 30 mm bearings and an enclosed stator, so it can handle axial and radial stresses that are quite high. A redesigned bell allows for superior heat dissipation and enhanced cooling in the motor design. The neodymium-iron-boron material used to make rotor magnets allows them to have a high torque density. Class B insulation protects the motor and its stator assembly, which is a molded-in construction. The maximum shaft diameter for a NEMA 23 stepper motor is 0.375", and there are several shaft modifications to choose from to meet individual requirements. For convenience, the motor has built-in electrical outlets with flying leads. Optional encoders and rear shaft extensions can help the motor work better.
With an IP 23 rating, this motor is dust and water-resistant. It can work in environments with temperatures between -20°C and +40°C.
