The PMA45R-01100-00 is a brushless servomotor produced by Pacific Scientific for the PMA Brushless Motors series. It is intended for closed-loop motion axes where rapid position correction and stable velocity are required in packaging machines, gantry systems, or material handling cells. By combining a permanent-magnet rotor with resolver feedback, the motor supplies continuous rotary power to an attached load while allowing drives in the same series to regulate current, commutation, and torque with minimal latency.

The motor has a continuous stall torque of 10.2 Nm, which is the sustained torque the frame can deliver without overheating when the shaft is locked. For transient moves, the peak torque reaches 36.8 Nm, giving additional headroom for acceleration or impact loads before current limiting occurs. That reserve is supported by a winding with a nominal stall current of 11.0 ARMS and an insulation rating of 240-480 V AC, so the motor can be paired with medium- or high-bus drives. During rapid reversals, the rotor inertia of 0.84 kg·m² × 10⁻³ supports quick speed changes while helping smooth small torque ripple. A right-angle connector orientation positions the power and feedback plugs parallel to the mounting face to reduce enclosure depth, and the smooth shaft simplifies coupling to backlash-free clamps.

A holding system rated for a 24 V brake secures the load when power is removed, eliminating the need for external clamps on vertical axes. The square body dimension of 115 mm matches standard IEC flange patterns, and the power lead exits through a 6PP (6-Pin Power) connector that keeps phase and ground conductors separate from signal lines.
