The PMA44P-00100-00 is a basic servomotor model from Pacific Scientific. The company offers automation solutions to the US market and is mainly focused on providing motion control drives and motors. The PMA is world-renowned series PacSci servomotors due wider voltage range, machine compatibility and long-lasting motor performance.The PMA44P-00100-00 synchronous drive features a 240-480 Volt AC powered winding with 7.4 Ampere RMS nominal stall current. The servomotor is available in two different configurations; A SC903-AN-001-01 drive that features 240 Volt AC winding, and SCE904AN-001-01 drive that features a 480 Volt AC winding.
The peak rated torque and continuous rated torque of SC903-AN-001-01 is 16.2 Newton-meter and 7.5 Newton-meter, respectively, while rated speed and No-load speed is 1,750 RPM and 2,250 RPM, respectively. On the other hand, the SCE904AN-001-01 drive offers a peak rated torque of 16.2 Newton-meter while its continuous rated torque is 6.5 Newton-meter. Rated speed and No-load speed of this model is 3,750 RPM and 4,500 RPM respectively.
The motor housing has IP65 rating that makes it suitable for rigorous factory setup. The IP65 protection prevents dust particles and water. The frame size of the PMA44P-00100-00 servomotor is 115mm square which is spacious enough for sufficient heat dissipation. The servomotor has been tested for smooth performance over temperature fluctuation of 100 degree Celsius above ambient 25 degrees. The motion control servomotor is found to operate smoothly below 40 degree Celsius. As far as other parts are concerned, the servomotor features a smooth shaft DIN42955 N, a 6PP, 12PSO interconnectron connector, and a standard alignment resolver. The feedback connector and output connector offer integration with high-end encoders and devices.
