The PMA43N-10100-00 is a brushless servomotor produced by Pacific Scientific within the PMA Brushless Motors series. Engineered for closed-loop automation, the unit converts electrical energy into precisely regulated rotary motion that can be synchronized with other machine axes. Resolver feedback reports rotor position to the drive so that material handling stations, index tables, and similar systems maintain accurate speed, direction, and repeatability during operation. This arrangement supports coordinated motion where stable feedback and predictable motor response are required across repeated cycles.

The motor delivers a continuous stall torque of 6.1 Nm, meaning it can hold that load without overheating. During acceleration, it reaches a peak torque of 21.7 Nm, supplying extra force for short demands. Dynamic response is aided by a rotor inertia of 0.52 × 10⁻³ kg·m², so the axis can reverse quickly with modest drive current. The nominal stall current is limited to 3.8 ARMS, which is the continuous phase current the matching drive must support. Position feedback comes from a resolver, an analog sensor that tolerates shock and temperature extremes. The motor has a closed keyway shaft and stack length 3. It does not include an internal brake, so any holding function must be provided by external equipment. A right-angle connector layout keeps cable exits low and helps reduce clearance needs around the motor body.

With a mass of 7.6 kg and a square frame that measures 115 mm across the mounting face, the motor can be fitted to medium-size gearboxes or belt drives without extra support brackets. Its windings are insulated for a supply range of 240–480 V AC, allowing connection to common three-phase servo drives. The factory-installed 6PP (6-pin power) connector is mounted at a right angle to the housing, which separates power conductors from feedback wiring. This layout helps keep cable routing compact in machines where space around the motor is limited.
