The PMA Series of brushless servo-motors by Pacific Scientific are their most rugged, comprehensive, reliable, customizable and cost-effective power drives that have a wide operating voltage range that extends from 240 to 480V ac. These are made with the best quality materials and craftsmanship, which makes them rugged and maintenance free. With an IP67 rating of protection, these are some of the safest motors to operate and handle in any environment. Their physical characteristics enhance efficiency and equipment reliability. PMA1 series is an extension of the PMA motors and helps in adding on to the range of this family of servo motors. These motors are CE compliant and have wide voltage capabilities that make them a good option over the wide range of applications.
The PMA11A-00100-00 is a standard motor in this class that has a single stack and the Winding Designator type A with 240V ac (max) and Nominal Stall Current of 1.3 A (RMS) with a factory assigned 6PP connector. They have a Winding of 240V ac., 1.3A RMS and come with a Smooth Shaft, DIN-42955 N They do not have a Brake, and have a standard Resolver type of Sensor. They have the peak stalling torque of 1.4Nm (12.4 lb-in), current at peak torque as 5.4 amps and the rated speed of 12900rpm.
The PMA11A-00100-00 has three servo drive models to choose from – the PC8x2, SC and SCE9x2. The PMA1 series has motors that are highly compact powerhouses with a frame that is barely 55 mm square in size and comes in one to three stack lengths. The provision of an integral parking brake offers the flexibility to meet the requirements of any application.
