Pacific Scientific BA manufactures the PMDC (Permanent Magnet DC) Series. They are made tough and perfect for rugged, quality construction and remarkably steady operation. The SR3616-3982-7-48C uses low voltage in compliance with NEMA standards. The construction of the PMDC Series consists of Class H armature insulation. It comes with anti-cogging magnets that have been patented to sustain constant low-speed operations. The SR3616-3982-7-48C uses a polyester-saturated armature to assure mechanical and electrical integrity.
For additional durability, this motor comes with large bearing and a rugged fused commutator. TENV and TEFC configurations can be used with it.
