Pacific Scientific produces the BA3648-5502-9-48B Permanent Magnet DC Motor for industrial use.
The "48B" label shows this motor has a custom-designed power enclosure that meets distinct operational demands. This motor fits under the 3/4 horsepower category like other BA3648 variants and runs at a fixed speed of 1750 RPM. The unit offers flexible NEMA C-face with mounted designs so you can easily place it where you need it. The mounting has four 3/8-16 UNC-2B bolts at equal positions on a 5.875-inch hole circle to make the assembly stable and secure. The motor shaft comes in 0.188 by 1.38 inches while featuring a key connection to deliver precise torque transmission and minimize skidding. The motor meets UL safety standards to recognize its quality and safety when used in many different locations. The motor operates with high levels of efficiency because its permanent magnet design produces excellent output performance at all speeds. Cooling methods like TEFC (Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled) and TENV (Totally Enclosed Non-Vented) enable the motor to run at optimal temperatures despite extreme usage conditions.
