By combining power conversion, loop control, and regenerative circuitry in one chassis, it reduces panel space and simplifies machine wiring while still handling the fast transient loads common in cyclic positioning tasks.

When fed from 480 VAC mains, the internal rectifier establishes a DC link of 640 VDC. A built-in circuit can absorb 70 J from the bus, with excess energy dumped into a 33 Ω, 100 W resistor to protect downstream components. Continuous operation at 40 °C allows the inverter to deliver 7.5 ARMS, corresponding to 5.6 kW of sustained output.
