The PC800 / PCE800 series are single-axis brushless servo drives designed for cabinet installation and intended to run a compatible brushless motor using dedicated motor power and feedback cabling with protective-earth bonding and shield termination for safety and EMC.
The PCE830/40 variant is specified for balanced three-phase 380–480 VAC mains (with a WYE supply and earthed neutral as the preferred configuration for compliance), while the control supply input accepts a wide range and is fed separately from the motor power bus. Commissioning and configuration are performed from a PC over an RS-232 serial connection using the 800Tools software, which supports creating drive/motor configurations, assigning and mapping I/O, downloading parameter sets, and saving settings to non-volatile memory. The platform supports multiple operating modes including torque, velocity, and position control, with position features such as predefined moves, step-and-direction, and electronic gearing, plus selectable command sources and configurable digital/analog I/O behavior.
