The PC834-001 is a brushless servo drive produced by Pacific Scientific within the PC800-PCE800 Brushless Servo Drives series. It regulates current, velocity, and position for permanent-magnet motors in automated machinery and robotics. The drive connects to host controllers through an RS-232/485 serial link, accepts ±10 V analog velocity or torque commands, and can also follow step-and-direction or internal indexing references. This allows flexible integration into distributed motion architectures.

During continuous operation on a 240 VAC three-phase supply, the power section can deliver 3.0 kW while supplying a steady motor phase current of 7.1 ARMS. Output voltage is switched at a 16 kHz ripple frequency, which reduces audible noise and smooths motor torque production. The input side draws a root-mean-square line current of 12 A, which is used when sizing fuses and feed conductors.
